Dato Arshad Mahmood
Dato Arshad Mahmood is the Executive Chairman of ICB and the founder and Chairman of the International Investment Consortium Inc. (“IIC”) and its affiliated companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Literature.
Dato Arshad has been at the forefront of the movement to break the debt cycle in developing countries through his unique financial engineering designs that have the capability to bring about a revolution in the capitalization of natural resources within economies, therefore, empowering local communities and driving efficient and sustainable economic development.
Further, he is passionate about corporate social responsibility and is committed to working with local communities to ensure that they see tangible benefits from all projects. This is achieved through a variety of mechanisms but most importantly Dato Arshad allocates a 5% equity share in all projects for Education to ensure that all children have access to high-quality education to safeguard their future and ensure the upward trajectory of the countries growth for generations to come.
Under his leadership, ICB will continue to focus on peace and prosperity by promoting business-focused solutions and investment programs designed to establish ICB as the leading bank in the Republic of South Sudan and a pioneer of economic growth and development.
Akoon Dit Atem
Akoon is a pioneer of ICB and has worked for the bank for over 10 years. He holds bachelor’s degree in Economics from Juba University (2003) and has worked in multiple positions in the bank.
Due to his success and commitment in managing, overseeing bank operations, as well as his skills in development and execution of business strategy, Akoon assumed the role of Managing Director for ICB from early 2019.
Since becoming Managing Director, Akoon has been central in leading operations and giving strategic direction for ICB to stand its ground during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Peter Daniel Deng
Peter has worked for ICB since 2012. He has acquired a broad and rich experience in various capacities within the banking field, with a particular focus on banking supervision, policies on financial inclusion and business development.
As Operations Manager, Peter holds an active role in both retail and corporate banking as well as being a central player in the formulation of ICB’s strategic development goals whilst being responsible for overseeing all major banking operations to ensure efficiency.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Guilford College in Greensboro North Carolina, USA, and master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Science & Technology Beijing in China.
